I have a 4412 and a 7448 holley 2 barrels and I want to put one of them with my 2 barrel intake. I know I need the adapter, but what else. I have a carter 1 barrel linkage on my truck now, will it work?? Also, here I go again, what electric choke will work?

I am running the 350 cfm on mine and had no problems adapting it at all. The 1bbl throttle linkage (cable type) was a little too short, but a couple of links from a bicycle chain fixed that. As for kickdown linkage, I have no idea as mine is a 4 speed.

There is a Mopar throttle lever adapter that allows for full throttle application. Without it, you will not quite get WOT plate position with the cable location on the Holley lever. If your running a rod style throttle system, I'm not sure how to set that up.

I use the Lokar kickdown cable for my automatic transmission. It worked for me right out of the box. I've heard some folks have had issues with them, though I'm not entirely sure why. A bit of fine tuning is needed between different carburetors. (I've run various Holley's and a Carter AFB.)
I did have to fabricate a cable mount for the throttle cable and Lokar. Pretty straight forward, and has worked for years on the Hooptie.

The standard car 1 bbl and 2 bbl cables were too short on my '65 with the 2300 Holley. Dusteridiot and I ran to the wrecking yard and pulled some cables out of the TBI K-cars which are much longer, and so long as you get the cable with the small bit which hooks to the TBI linkage (there is a larger end for the later 80s and up cars, you will notice when/if you look and can find the 2 different cables).

The end which hooks to the pedal should be the same from '67 up.

That will get you a long enough cable for throttle actuation. You may be able to bend/modify your stock 1-bbl throttle cable bracket for use with the 2-bbl, I have done this. It takes a pair of vice grips and 5 minutes.

As far as kickdown linkage goes, you will have to modify your 1-bbl rod, modify the 2-bbl rod linkage (it likely wont hook right up), or do as Ceej did, and as I have done many times, use a Lokar cable. Lokar cables are VERY easy to install, especially on a truck, and adjustments don't take long.

Just set whatever rod/cable you decide to go with so that the lever on the trans is pushed all the way back at WOT on the Carb.
