I just did a compression test on my W150, and the compression reads as follows, starting at #1... 95 60 100 70 105 55 Bleah... So, the head's coming off, and I guess I'll shave the head down to raise the CR while I'm at fixing the valves. I should have figured something was up, when i went to set the valves the previous person had clearances in the 25 to 45 thousandths range... |

I feel for ya. I was putting compressed air into my cylinders to change valve stem seals and felt a nice breeze out of the exhaust ports. |

hey, your compression is great compared to mine! 30 60 120 60 90 125 something like that. still trying to hammer out the starting issue, looking for clues as it may relate to compression. i get starter turnover when turning key back from start. |

she's up and running...kind of amazing, eh? that compression check was done by majhor murray's. last person to do a valve lash told me it was 90 across. he did NOT do the lash correctly and his reading was WAY off. surprise. |

er, it's really handy for starting. getting it fixed soon anyways. i'm excited about getting the power back...she's already strong, even with the bad comp. |
