I have had zero luck tracking one down in my area... strange being the motor city. Anyone ever have luck finding this service. Any tips or hints as to what kind of place I can find this at? Emissions testing is no longer done with any regularity in my state.

Back when I lived up there and they phased in testing, the DMV maintained a list of places that did testing, although many of the listings were bogus. You might see if they have a list still; a few listing might be kosher.
