I say go with Lokar or Bouchillion (SP). The stock kickdowns were hard to find ten years ago, they must be getting very rare these days. Cable kickdowns are affordable, very flexible in that they can be configured to work with different carbs, and can even be easily transferred between vehicles. HEREis a $25 cable kickdown kit for a 904. Buy it and move on to some other part of your project. |

No worries. I had lots of help (and still do) when I had questions and was learning about the slant six. I'm happy to pass the favor on. |

reed, with that cable, do i need to get anything else? or is it just "here buy this... now hook it up"... or is it "buy this... now get these bolts, and add that cat, and combine that buffalo and that dog... now put it on" |

It's a little more complicated than just hooking it up. I'm still trying to figure out what parts to purchase with a cable kickdown. Pictures are worth a thousand words... anybody have a bouchillon, Lokar or Random Ebay cable kickdown setup? |

I have never used a Lokar assembly on a Mopar. I did use one on my Ford van. It came with instructions and all parts needed to hook it up. Installation was a breeze and it has worked flawlessly for about six years now. |
