I'm curious to know more about the hand-matching of the timing components.
It means they're less likely to be off when installed by lining up the dots, without a degree wheel?)

I have had a few requests for any leftover sets. I only have one extra. So, I called Cloyes to see if they would do another sale, and got a yes. I would need to order at least 10 sets. So if any missed out on the original deal, and would like one, please answer in this thread. |

I assumed this referred to the length of the chain variations, for chain tension. Dot accuracy would be another possibility. I degree everything now... Lou |

It is matching the 3 components so when they are installed on the engine the chain will not be too tight or too loose, due to manufacturing tolerances, of the individual components. It is done on a fixture. |
