After disassembling ALL my front suspension ('60 Valiant) every piece of rubber is shot and all the pieces look pretty wimpy- control arms, etc.

I planned on beefing things up, re-welding, gusseting, Basically welding things up for stiffness, etc.

Is this my only choice for a suspension upgrade?

Dump the 60-61 set-up and swap-over to the 62 - 66 A-Body suspension set-up.
It is a lot of extra work but you will have a better system with more common parts.

10-4 Roger that. Going to wrecking yard tomorrow and scrounge for one.
I take it I should grab all the rest of the suspension bits that go with it.

Will report back with findings, over.
