i have a 66 valiant, i put in an 8 1/4 rear. the driveshaft is about 2 1/2 inches too long but there are three holes in the mounting pad so i just moved it back and bolted it up. the center section and the shocks now hit the gas tank. is there any stock driveshaft that will bolt in and let me move the rear forward again? |

Actually, the original driveshaft will be 1.6" too long. I think a driveshaft from a Duster with an 8 1/4 will be close. What's your driveshaft length from the center of one U-joint to the other? |

Those 3 holes on the housing perches are not for adjustment. Only the middle one should be used. You need to find or make a shorter driveshaft and put your axle back in the centered position where it should be. Lou |
