Has a torque curve been posted for a reasonably stock 225? Any mods to the tested engine should be listed. I'm looking for a curve that tracks torque up to 2500 rpm. |

Rough torque curve was found thru a google search which demonstrates a rather flat peak curve between 1900 & 2900 rpm for a stock slant. see: http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5140/550 ... 78fc_m.jpg Hopefully someone can come up with a better detailed curve....my present gearing, tire diameter, & overdrive puts me at 1830 rpm at 65 mph in overdrive. |

I worked this up from a desk top dyno simulation. I had it toggled to report ouput at the wheel for this run. http://www.flickr.com/photos/13718356@N ... 970899866/ the stock 83 slant six hydraulic cam truck motor is the first group of columns on the left. Stock slant six cams have changed over the years, so your curve may be different. This simulation used the factory 83 cam specs. regards |
