under # 1 plug on top of block , behind alt bracket ...it is stamped there |

If by chance the information has been removed from top of block below #1, you can narrow it down by measuring the short hose between head and water pump. If the short hose is about one & one half inch long you have a 170 ci, and if it is about three inches long a 198 or 225 ci. |
