Hi,

I got the chance to get a recon VH24 brake booster, I currently have an Abody with drum brakes all around. It'll cost me $25.

Will it make a reasonable difference?
Is it easy to install?

Changing over will be hard if you do not have all the special mounting brackets and hardware for you year vehicle and chassis type.

I googled the VH24 booster, it looks like it could work , if you have & wanted to keep a single circuit brake system. (but why would you )

I don't know how much pressure the VH24 can add, but I always felt that most power drum systems had too boost & were quite difficult modulate under heavy braking.

Having owned several drum brake A bodies, I never found anything wrong with the front brakes that a disc conversion couldn't fix.
