Hi, I got the chance to get a recon VH24 brake booster, I currently have an Abody with drum brakes all around. It'll cost me $25. Will it make a reasonable difference? Is it easy to install? Cheers! |

Changing over will be hard if you do not have all the special mounting brackets and hardware for you year vehicle and chassis type. DD |

I googled the VH24 booster, it looks like it could work , if you have & wanted to keep a single circuit brake system. (but why would you  )I don't know how much pressure the VH24 can add, but I always felt that most power drum systems had too boost & were quite difficult modulate under heavy braking. Having owned several drum brake A bodies, I never found anything wrong with the front brakes that a disc conversion couldn't fix. |
