I am sure the formula is here somewhere but I can't find it even if its obvious to every one else....I missed it.

So, when milling /6 heads how much does what? How much cut delivers what reduction in chamber size?

So now you know how many cc are removed per given depth of cut. This by it's self is useless information.

Now you need to measure how far down the hole a piston is at TDC, length of stroke, diameter of piston, thickness of head gasket when compressed, starting cc’s of combustion chamber, and enter all this info into a compression calculator. Than calculate depth of cut to arrive at a pre determined compression ratio suitable for your camshaft and build. Skipping these steps will just waste time and money, yielding poor performance.

You have to know your starting point, and calculate to reach your goal.

Actually, it's very good information to have. Say I have a 62cc head and to get my target compression ratio I need a 50cc head. How much do I mill from the head?
