Post subject:  Speed Bumps Are Trouble

So I'm a senior in highschool and I finally got my car on the street Friday :D but, I noticed anytime I went over the GIANT speed bumps at my school (I'll get some pictures posted later) they are ridiculous, my friends ford ranger is known to scrap on them from time to time. Anyway, anytime I went over one of the shorter ones to the staff parking lot I was greeted to the unfortunate crunching/grinding noise for a couple seconds, and this was idling over them with one tire at a time. Is there anything I can do to help with this? Or do I have to put up with it for another month or so.

Thanks,
Seth

i had similar problems, is your exhaust stock?(i ask cause i made the mistake of letting a friend weld up my exhaust  ) if its practical maybe you could position the hangers a little higher without hitting the floor board or causing vibration. some of those things are stupid huge :(

i had to go ridiculously slow to avoid scrape-age before i got my exhaust done professionally when i had my valiant 4 door.

Haha, it's funny you said this, I did in fact give my friend "artistic freedom" on the exhaust, but it sits super close to the floorboard but doesn't vibrate and is super clean. I'll get some pictures of my exhaust and of the speed bumps they are stupid, and about 10 of them each way
