I'm in the process (don't ask how long) of installing the Scarebird kit on my 63 Valiant, and I want to go with a booster for the extra pedal. My question is, as in the title, will a '74 Disc/Drum MC with stock booster bolt up to the 63 firewall without modifications/adapters, etc.? If anyone has experience with this, I would appreciate any insights. Thanks! |

The booster for the early cars is different than the '73+ unit. You don't really need power brakes. The master cylinder itself does bolt to the firewall. |

Yes, the original booster available on the early cars is different, but to answer the question you actually asked, yes the '74 booster and brackets will bolt up to the '63 firewall without modification. |
