Here's my dilemma I was trying to remove my crank dampner with a two jaw puller and I pulled the pulley off the dampner Is there a way to press the pulley back on or should I try and replace the dampner with a new one? also there is a rubber ring between the dampner and the pulley I think that would need to be replaced as will does anybody have any ideas were I can get a new one? Does anybody make a after market dampner? The motor is a 69 motor Aaron |

Do a search on this site. I know there are several companies that can recondition the one you have or sell you a new one. As far as I know it is not something you can do in your garage. |

Bummer. Next time use the threaded holes in the damper hub. Quote: Is there a way to press the pulley back on or should I try and replace the dampner with a new one?
You can't just press it back together, but it can be rebuilt. I like the Powerbond new ones myself.
