This will only stall around 2000 RPM on a Slant 6 (that is V8 rating). Not the best brand either, but could be OK.

I just got off the phone with this place
talked to Brian the owner.
their BDR torque converter car came in runner up

http://www.mikejanisracing.com/racing.html

he said he could dial me any torque converter for our slant six.
35 years in the business. said that slant six had good torque vs V6's

Ask him how efficient he can keep the converter. (under 4% loss?)
It is easy to make a "loose" converter... it is much harder to make a high stall converter that does not "throw-away" a bunch of HP... making heat.

4% max
said stater pitch angle positive main angle on the impeller side that drives the inverter. does no just bend the internals for stall.

I had 2 ACC converters for my Duster. The first one had the neck welded on off-center, and the second one shook so badly it almost shook the windshield out of the car going down the road.

i am looking for a better converter, the one i am running now is a local built using a 2.2 body with 904 inner`s,it stall 3900rpm`s but after using a loaner from a friend mine seem to be losing to much on the big end. my converter hits 6800 rpm@ 111mph and the other 6400rpm@116mph, were do most of other racer go?
