The fast & easy way is to get a universal CV boot replacement "kit"... then cut to fit. See this ebag ad or get them thru your local auto parts store. DD |

Put a new clutch in our Valiant yesterday, and discovered the wonder that it the front uni joint on a '63 A body, ?????? this thing looks like something off a veteran car, Do you just pull off the dust cover and pack it with grease every 1000 miles or what ? And when they are worn and noisy is there a replacement option with a less archaic joint, like a second 4 roller uni joint like on the rear? Yes I know the idea of this thing is to allow the tail shaft to slip slightly as the rear axel moves back and forth, btu my 72 Chrysler had the more conventional set up , RAYCYCLED |
