Ok I found a Labonte ISG-25 STAGE 2 meth Injection system online for cheap and before I go out and get my intercooler piping I'd like to get .org boost junkies opinions on running a meth injections system without a intercooler! When I was doing my research on meth injection over on the turbo forums there are a whole lot of people making good numbers 600 HP plus without a intercooler and there AFR numbers are good.
It's may understanding that a properly installed meth system and a correct mixture of fluid you can look for 80 to 100 degree temp drop on your injected air.

What's your opinion

Alcohol and water are proven as anti-detonants. It will be of benefit without an intercooler. I have a couple of NACA papers on the subject which make for interesting reading. PM me your e-mail if you'd like copies.

Joshua just thought I'd let u no I changed my setup after some of your advise and countless hours of internet research mostly in my gear and rear suspension I went with the stock slant rear leaf springs instead of the SS with may caltrac system and I also installed a 2.94 sure grip but I never intended on running the 4.56 gear
I no the turbo is small but if I got to upgrade I planned on making a turbo header so that will be the time for a upgraded turbo
Thanks for the help
Aaron

Yeah, Super Stock springs work as intended, but they aren't optimum for something street driven or for use with Cal Tracs.

A healthy turbo 225 has enough torque and acceleration you can run out of RPM long before you hit the 1/4 mile traps with 3.55s let alone 4.56s. 2.94 should do quite well.

I'm glad to have been of help. Keep us updated on your progress.

I've read good things about meth kits it's like a safety net I don't have one yet but i'll be getting a kit before i start cranking the boost up. Gonna try and keep my daily driver out of engine death row :)

I say both are great together...at least for me. Drag only car with a few runs in the country to test some new things. I guess if it was street driven alot I may do both also. I don't mind filling the Meth bottle. Later
