Don't try and scrape it off. It will pull paint away. But if you heat it up a little w a hair dryer, then use Goo B Gone, it cleans up nicely. then go buy a better ECU

Very hot weather will melt out the glue without other problems causing it. Other than the cosmetic mess,everything is probly fine.

I got a car for free once because it needed one of those. Took and old one off the shelf in the garage and had a free running Aspen Wagon with a Super Six and OD four speed!
