I recently picked up a /6 unilite, I'd like to run it in my racer. The advance springs are missing and the ID tag is missing. I need some help IDing this thing so I can get some parts. The module has a date stamp of 6/91, so I am hoping the that is near the dist. production date. does anyone have an old mallory book from around 1991 that shows a part number for it?

There should be a model number on it. I've got one in the Hooptie. The spring kits are available from SummitRacing or any of the other online outfits. Some shops may be able to get them also.
They sell advance keys for two different models. Mine is the early one. With a '91 date, I'd guess yours is too, but if you call Summit, they should be able to help you ID it.

Thanks, I talked to a couple of guys at mallory but I think they were still crapin in their hands and wiping on their face in 1991. They had no idea unless it was relavent to what was on their computer. By any chance do you know the tag # on your dist?

Hmmmm. I'll have to go look. Somewhere I have the original box.
