Maybe somebody can answer a couple questions for me about how much lube will a 833od case hold and my second question can I change the fluid out while the trans is in the car or do I have to take it out and place it on its side and fill it from the plug

Thanks Aaron [/code]

About 8.5 pints. There is a fill plug and a drain plug. Add oil until it's even with the bottom of the fill plug with the vehicle level.

The owners manual for my Volare calls for ATF in the 833-OD

You can put a lot of different lubricants in an A833 and have it work acceptably. The last one I had really liked Red Line MT-90. I'll most likely use it again in the Barracuda when the time comes.

The manual states atf is used from the factory but if it makes to much noise you can remove the atf and put in 90 .

I got 90 in mine and i use the screw on lid with the plunger thing on it then just pump away until the jug is empty or my trans starts dripping from the fill plug.
