We're almost ready to replace the exhaust manifold and pipe/muffler on the '67 225 Dart. We're putting on the later model manifold with the Aussie gaskets and electric choke. Do we need to get a 2-1/4" exhaust?

You don't need to get a 2 1/4 inch exhaust, but it would help your engine make more power and get better fuel economy.

Yes, that's the best and biggest size that is useful to run on a stock exh manifold, and will give best perf and MPG.
