In my previous post I mentioned that I'm "Electronically Challenged". Since I do need to get up to speed, could someone recommend some good books to help me get up to speed on automotive electrical issues?

Haynes puts out a series of special manuals. The Automotive Electrical Manual is 1654. You should be able to get or order it at any of the discount automotive parts stores for about $15.
