I like it.

You mounted stuff like the VR and ignition module and ballast resistor inside, instead of in the hot engine compartment.

Is the bulkhead connector used at all for these things?
Is that a cake pan?

Thanks Reed!
Yes, that is the ECU, Voltage reg, ballast resistor, and starter relay. I really didn't mess with the bulkhead connector, and yes, that is a "cake pan", or some kind of cooking pan. I bought it at our local grocery store for around $2.50.
Budget-friendly, that's me. 8) I really like that it helped clean up the engine compartment. I didn't rewire anything, I just relocated those components to the other side of the firewall.
Thanks again Reed! And thanks for the kudos sixsignet!

Oh yeah, my inspiration for this was the gentleman here with a late fifties model Dodge pickup with a slant six. Sorry, I don't recall his name, but he has pics on this website of his show quality pickup. He fabbed a panel for some of the electrical components and mounted it under his dash. The firewall of his pickup looks awesome!
Anyway, that's what gave me the idea to do this on my Volare.
