Post subject: | Roof Rail weatherstrip rubber from Metro TOO SHORT!?? |
Received my roof rail weather stripping from Metro USA and upon installation found that the front pieces were about 2-inch too short (see pic). The same for the other side too... Is it supposed to be this way? Or am I supposed to stretch it or something? Hmm... weird! It says '63-'66 A Body Convertible on the box: Hmm... |

I don't know of anyone that has gotten their weatherstripping to work. A guy on here was talking to them about test fitting some and making them better but I havent heard anything in a long time. I got some a few years ago and it was way too big and bulky to fit in the channel. I couldn't even roll my window up. I'd get a refund and look elsewhere. |

They emailed me back asking what length do I need and they will cut to size and sent it. Funny that my channel is about 18-3/4" and they said it should be 15". Pics attached. and this is what they sent me |
