Haven't been around for awhile. things happen. Anyway, this weekend I finally get a chance to go to the local pull-n-pay and would like to know what kind of donor I am looking for to get a mini starter for my car from.
It is a 1966 Valiant slant. Duh! Go figure! I have done a search and found many, many posts about mini starters but really hard to find one giving specifics. Thanks in advance. Dennis

Thanks Dan. I knew the info was here somewhere as I had seen it before. Just wasn't searching properly.

Well, went pull-n-pay. Got a whole junkyard of parts here so I find a 97 Dakota with nice clean Denso starter. Only me!! Get it home. Put it on. Click! Click!. Click! Recheck everything. Still nothing. Then I remember a place on here where Dan talks about the only thing goes wrong is the contacts.
So, follow the link and they describe the problem to a "t". Order my parts and get them in 2 days. Install them. Put starter back in. Varoom!
Now I gotta learn to start my car all over. Thing spins so fast, it's scary.

THANKS SS DAN AND SS FORUM!!!!!
