http://www.foureyedpride.com/phpBB2/vie ... php?t=1233 I'd LOVE to have something like this in the Dart. Al brand new Autometer gauges too. Be nice to have a transmission temperature gauge as well for those of us with auto trannies. What say you guys? |

Looks cool to me. I was thinking of making my own for my '64 Dart. Should be pretty easy. ![]() Lou |

That's what I was thinking. Though I really wonder what that corrugated looking sheet is behind the plate, and what exactly he used for the turn signal and high beam indicators. I'm emailing back and forth with him to see if he can at least do something up for '67-'72 Darts and Valiants (they have the same plates don't they?). Says all he really needs is a part from a junkyard to use as a template, and I'm sure I could find something around where I live... |

I built one years ago for my old Demon. I used 1/16" aluminum sheet and Stage III Stewart Warner gauges. It had a tach, speedo, fuel, oil, amp, water and vacuum. I used red and green LEDs from Radio Shack for the high beam and turn indicators. To fit it in the dash a gutted the original panel and glued the aluminum to the plastic outsides. Painted everything light gray and mounted it into the dash. |
