I have a 73 Duster with a Super Six and I'm going to fuel inject it and turbo charge it but, I'm looking for relatively cheap turbo for power (I'm looking to drag it).

There is a Garrett Gt45r for $300 on craigslist, would that work?

Thanks.

In the FAQ there are several links to Turbo builds. Take a look through there and search the site. There are threads that go into detail about how to select the right turbo. :D

A gt45 sounds really big for a slant, but you have to do the math, I guess...

Way too big - a Holset HX35 may be a better choice for the relatively easy to find turbos. We just tuned a BMW M20 (2.7 liter) slant six on one of those at work, made 356 hp to the rear wheels...

I would seriously consider getting a stock Grand National (Garrett) turbo. Well sized for the engine, and 13s or 14s should be no problem on a street car. These can be had pretty cheaply from boards like turbobuick.com.
