Nice, it actually looks pretty cool with the two diff. types of blue. A new kind of two tone.

will soon be a triple tone when i put the black doors, and hood on. i always wanted to start a new fad. i plan to get it repainted the original dark metallic blue. still needs front fenders.

color subject to change without prior notice.

thanks. i plan to have it painted the original color, the chrome fender emblems will be replaced with the "100" emblems salvaged from my 67 D100 and greatly minimized pinstripes mimicking the originals. the wheels will be the flashiest part. kind of a less is more approach.

yes, the bed was found on CL, from a guy in Indy a couple months ago. got it for $250. not too many around this state with no rust. has had a not so great paint job. (better than I could do) thanks to my cheap digital camera for not bringing out all of the flaws! looks great from 20 paces :D . also got the rims from CL for $100, they have been nicely painted. the main goal there was to get rid of the heavy steel rims and truck tires. greatly improved ride and handling.

i am not cheap, i am "thrifty" :D .

the wide whites are kinda expensive, my tire shop had to order the ones i bought, Mastercraft (made by Cooper) right at $400 for the set.

my son thinks it looks stupid, but what do these young kids know anyway. most guys "my age" like them. i have 5 grandkids so i may as well "granpa" the truck out.

have a great day, andy.

Chalk up another vote for the whitewalls. When my van needs tires, I hope they are still available.

why paint that-- it looks pretty good now--- extend the gold accent trim & go!!

or do some kind of transition blend from dark to light & be done with-- cool ride ,Lawrence
