Just got this rebuilt Holley 1920 that came from a 1970 Dart. The 70' carb appears to be the same minus two things. First it does'nt have the electronic choke and second it does'nt have one of the charcoal canister line that on the 73' runs from the front to the right. I have no idea what to do if I can make this work! |

I'm not sure what "electronic choke" you are talking about -- please elaborate. The stock '73 choke will hook right up to a '70 Holley 1920. As for the charcoal can hookup: not difficult. See here. |

The electronic choke is broken so I should be able to just bolt on the one from the 70' right? |

Choke thermostat style is dependent on which exhaust manifold you're using. '73-up manifold with '73-down carb gets '73-only choke thermostat. '73-up manifold with '74-up carb gets '74-up choke thermostat. It's that simple! (someone's boogered up both the '73 and the '70 chokes you're showing us. Put in a #1231 Electric choke kit. |
