this is the rear in our 1968 Dodge dart slant six. I do not know if it is org.
I believe its a 7.25 but it has a threaded filler hole/plug?

Yep, looks like a 7¼" to me. Why does the threaded fill plug make you think it's not? That's the kind of fill plug that was used through sometime in the early '70s.

well i'm not familiar with them. i did a search and all had a rubber plug, so

As a bit of trivia, that plug in the cover is the same plug used on the cross ram intake manifolds used on the Super Stock 426 Hemis... :wink:
