Hi guys
I'm all new to the slant six, dare I say I have been a chevy guy all my life. with that being said I have purchased a 1966 clark ( as in forklift ) cortez motor home. It's so ugly its cute. It came with a 225 slant and I was wondering how to set the lifters, I'm told they need it periodically.

I installed a new 2 barrel carb as well as a petronix elec. ignition and headers.wires plugs and anything else I could change to squeeze out a few more horses.

I have always admired the slant six and I'm proud to have one.
Thanks Ray

Welcome Ray!

Take a look in the Engine section Frequently Asked Question thread near the top of this index. It includes the valve adjustment procedure.

Enjoy your motorhome! :D
