this is the rear in our 1968 Dodge dart slant six. I do not know if it is org.
I believe its a 7.25 but it has a threaded filler hole/plug?

Yep, looks like a 7ΒΌ" to me. Why does the threaded fill plug make you think it's not? That's the kind of fill plug that was used through sometime in the early '70s. |

As a bit of trivia, that plug in the cover is the same plug used on the cross ram intake manifolds used on the Super Stock 426 Hemis...
