looks like a lot of these are out there. eBay/local are they considered too heavy in weight for a slant six.. |

They do weigh in rather "fat", but the biggest problem with them is the angle between the pinion and ring gears. That angle is pretty big, and eats up quite a bit more horsepower than other choices. You might want to consider a Ford 8.8, especially if you can snag one out of a Mustang. Most of them were limited slip rears, and later ones had disc brakes on the back. Roger |

Ok theres a thread here about Toyota rears also..they look a little more stout then the fords.. being on a budget plan it's good 2know whats what and the when one @ a price comes up snag it. thanks. |
