Any idea if there's an all in one kit for all of the springs, linkages, vacuum choke thingy, etc. for a Carter 1 bl? I've got a new (now I guess...unused) carb in a box that came with the car but no other parts. Thoughts? |

The "vacuum choke thingy" (choke pull-off) is available as a separate service part. But your new/unused carb should already have this part, is it missing? As for the linkages and springs…these, too, should be on a new/unused carb. Some linkages are available new, most are not. Show us some photos of the carb you have and we can enumerate what's missing for you. |

BTW, the little price tag looking sticker says that the carb was remanufactured in 1974. |

So, for this carb, where can I buy what's missing? Can I buy it all in one fell swoop, or one piece at a time? Am I better off just hitting Dan up for a complete carb that's rebuilt and working right? |
