I gave up on my speedometer and decided to go digital. Anybody know what transducer will screw into my A833OD? All the instructions say deal with Ford or Chev.

See here. Why giving up on your speedometer?

Lots of 1990s Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouths have an electronic sender that fits in the tailhousing of earlier transmissions. My '96 Dakota was that way. They are fairly cheap new, but don't come with a drive gear. Try STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # SC105 or AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 5S4684 which appears to come with a plug and wires.

Dan, I broke the needle and it would not glue back together. I also cracked the plastic on the cable, so even if I did find another needle, it would pop off when I hit a bump. But mainly because I want a digital speedo, and my dad already bought it for me.

Thanks for the part numbers! Now pay day needs to hurry up.

That's easy, a NAPA Echlin VSS 232 will thread right in place between the top of your speedo cable and the back of your speedo
No good, I believe that unit is discontinued.

Olaf.
