I gave up on my speedometer and decided to go digital. Anybody know what transducer will screw into my A833OD? All the instructions say deal with Ford or Chev. |

Lots of 1990s Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouths have an electronic sender that fits in the tailhousing of earlier transmissions. My '96 Dakota was that way. They are fairly cheap new, but don't come with a drive gear. Try STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # SC105 or AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 5S4684 which appears to come with a plug and wires. |

Dan, I broke the needle and it would not glue back together. I also cracked the plastic on the cable, so even if I did find another needle, it would pop off when I hit a bump. But mainly because I want a digital speedo, and my dad already bought it for me. Thanks for the part numbers! Now pay day needs to hurry up. |

Quote: That's easy, a NAPA Echlin VSS 232 will thread right in place between the top of your speedo cable and the back of your speedo
No good, I believe that unit is discontinued.Olaf. |
