G'day guys,

just after a little help.

I'm going to try and replace this rubber bush, but was wondering if anyone knows what it's actual name is, for searches and the like. It's attached to the inside of the car (on my 62 Valiant), and the accellerator rod/linkage goes through it and into the engine bay. As you can see, the rubber is stuffed. I was going to try and knock something up with a shock bush, but thought I'd ask first.

Peter

The part you need can be found in the Gary Goers catalogue; see here. Find it by picture.

Thanks heaps Dan,

I emailed a couple of the places that you provided links for - many thanks.

It's good to read comments about the places over there, because we here in Australia don't have too many businesses that caterr to reproduction items for old cars.

Peter

We feel the same way about your repro parts sources (Blue Star Spares, Pentastar Parts, etc.)!

Be prepared to have some difficulty getting in correspondence with Gary Goers. Use fax if possible; his email is perpetually badly backlogged. The effort is worthwhile.
