What's the best polish for a chrome bumper? I pulled all the bumperstickers off the Dart and want to get the rest of the adhesive and billions of little scuff marks out if possible. |

Wenol and Simichrome are not the cheapest, but both work wonders on light-to-moderate oxydation (but obviously not heavy pitting which has penetrated all the way through the plating to metal). Pretty much hit or miss on finding them at auto parts stores, I would think it more likely at independents rather than chain stores. I first found Semichrome years ago at a motorcycle shop back when I was ridin'. Try a Harley shop? Another place I've seen Wenol is at antique and high-tone furniture stores...they use it to polish brass hardware on cabinetry and such. ---Red |
