Installing an HEI ignition in my '71 D100 and am following Dan's post in the FAQ section. I am going to use a relay to power the ignition and would like to hook to the alternator for the 12v sourch as shown in the wiring diagram. My question is do I simply hook to the 1/4 - 20 post marked "batt"?
