Hello, It's Time for a New Balancer in My driver, and I wanted to know if anyone has had any experience with the Powerbond Balancers from ebay?? I would like to get one quick that is why I am not sending mine to damper dudes and Since this is not a Race Application I am not getting a Romac. Any Feedback, experiences with this product would be appreciated! Greg |

i just installed mine recently, dan pointed me to it. they are made in aus. and they seem bitchen, i havnt ran it yet, well because the motor is still on the stand, slowly getting finished. but i will say, with mine, unsure if anyone else has had this problem. it was an INCREDIBLE tight fit. it went on a little over half way, and stopped. it wouldnt budge, and even insanely tight to pull back off. after everything the nose of the crank was fine, and same for inner hub of the damper. no burrs or anything that looked like it would have hung up. i got some emory cloth, spent less then a minute cleaning the inner hub, lubed it up with a $#!+ load of antiseize and pressed it on, no problems, went on like butter, didnt even have to hold the motor from turning over untill the last little part to makesure it was completely seated. |

i also installed a bolt, used a wide washer, then a split washer, and torqued it down to 50ftlbs |

If you need a good one, I have a pile of stock ones in good shape. $10+ ship or I can bring it to the banquet. I have never had a ring come off. I think that was mostly a problem with early dampers. I have run these on high RPM motors too. Still have a stocker on the 68 Dart and until recently had one on the 64. Lou |

I run stock dampers on my cars, but have had one ring come off. Lou My 66 valiant, when I was breaking in the cam, the ring ran over my toes and rolled out the door. |
