First fuel "fill" since I converted over to the WW3-275 carb and Dutra duals with 2 1/4" plumbing I calculate 15 MPG after burning 8.875 gallons. Keep in mind I always have my foot on it. Maybe see what.. |

What gears and transmission do you have? Is that city or highway or mixed? |

904 auto and I'm assuming stock (3.23) rear end. (Someone will correct me here if I am wrong about that) Guess I should spend some time to calculate it at some point to be sure. City and highway. Can't keep it under 70-75 on the freeway. That too will pass. Again, I've had a heavy foot since the conversion. |

That is what my Stromberg did exactly. It did give it more power. I went back to the BBD which gave me 22 MPG all the time. The car was my daily driver at the time, and I put tons of miles on it, so it was important to get that 50% improvement. But, the Stromberg made it feel like a V-8. Have you recurved your distributor at all. If not, I think if you play with your timing curve you might do better. Take a look at Aggressive Ted's set up under the FAQ thread of the Engine section.
