I am not aware of such adapter but you can modify your 1bbl intake to mount that 2bbl carb.

There are several companies that sell a one to two barrel carb adapter, but it is generally not a good idea to use one. The one barrel intake opening is a choke point for air flow so you will not get the full benefit of the two barrel carb. Further, you may or may not have hood clearance issues depending on your vehicle and air cleaner.

Don't use an adaptor to mount a 2bbl carb on a 1bbl intake. It won't work right, the hookup hassles will be large, and it's generally just a waste of money, time, and effort. Get a 2bbl intake (or make one, see the parallel 2bbl setup article. Photo documentation of a very well done such conversion is here).

Yeah you might as well do it the right way the first time. Otherwise you're just going to end up doing it twice.

I'm sure you're fine being in Texas but I'd check the emissions laws before doing anything. If everything is clear, the cheapest route is to see if anyone here has a non reman Holley 1945 you can swap onto there. If you don't find any luck there, then you can find yourself a super six setup for fairly cheap since you don't need the kickdown due to the 4spd trans.
