say if one were to have a later car, with a big hole converter. and one picked up an engine with a small hole crank, would one be able to switch out the converter to a small hole, with out any problems? also is there a picture anywhere for side by side comparison? |

My 63 Dart has the small hole early crank and the transmission has a smaller diameter input shaft. The later large hole crank transmissions had larger input shafts. Richard |

You can have a converter built to fit the small hole crank and the large input shaft trans. I have all of my converters were made that way. |

I'm having a similar problem and I'm looking into having my crankshaft machined out larger to match up with my torque converter. |

If your crank is out, this is a good idea. Doc has done this with success. I've never tried it, but it should work. Lou |
