Here you go. No adapter needed. I am guessing it uses AFB jets and rods.

Hmmm, they reinvented the Carter AVS. I wonder who owns the patent on that design now.

Demon used to have problems with quality control in their manufacturing. Anyone know if they have cleaned up their work over the last year or two?

I thought Demon (BG) went out of business!

I read Holley bought the TQ stuff!

What I see is that you don't need to take the top off to change jets like a regular TQ, and no metering rod tree to adjust. The down side is 2 step rods VS 3.

After this many years? Nobody.

Yeah, but that was several years ago, and it was (and is) Edelbrock.

This what's just been introduced is a 3bbl design with similarities to the Carter ThermoQuad.

I suspect that Weber USA has the manufacturing rights to the old Carter designs. The Edelbrock AVS is just an AFB with an adjustable secondary flap and asymmetrical throttle bores. Wasn't the old AVS a three barrel design?

What I would like to see is a new design 2 barrel based on the front half of the AFB with the standard 2 barrel Holley flange.

A 2 barrel TBI using that same Holley flange would also be nice. Especially if was using the common GM parts.

Nope, 4bbl.

My '69 Road Runner with 383 Magnum had a Carter AVS (air valve secondaries) and was rated at 625cfm, if I recall correctly and definately was a 4 barrel! The unsilenced air cleaner was great at attracting attention!
