What would the typical Clutch Life be on a slant - Daily Driver - Stock weight vehicle(car not a truck) No hauling or Towing - Lots of stop / Go Some hilly starts.. I know there are alot of variables here - Just asking for some real world experiences and Thoughts. Thanks Sages! Greg |

My parents on a new stock slant car used to replace the disk every 10 years...Once I started driving it had to be replaced about 5-7 years. Currently the original 2 barrel build I put in the duster held a stocker clutch daily driving for about 30,000 miles with moderately aggressive driving. Once I swapped to a hyperpak and started racing the stocker 9 1/4" would last about 3 races and be a bit mushy but still get me to work for a while...I have yet to fully torture test a Stage 3-4 spec clutch to determine it's life. -D.Idiot |
