Post subject:  Valve adjustment and now i'm getting a little smoke

I did a valve adjustment on my 67 valiant a couple weeks ago.
(Intake .010 Exhaust .020)
It was a major improvement in a lot of ways. Except now my PCV valve is whistling, and when i pop it out and shine a flashlight on the hole, i see a little smoke.

the valves were way out of whack. When i was done with the adjustment i was pretty happy with how it went.

Maybe it smoked before.....but would anything about a valve adjust cause my engine smoke?

Smoke is blowby normal for old high milage motor, try new PVC valve.

Re-adjust the idle speed, that may stop the PCV whistle.

And you adjusted hot/running, not cold, right?

yup, engine runnin' and warmed up. idling low

I'm pretty sure i navigated the intake and exhaust combo alright, but what if i did get one backwards? hypothetically.

What would happen if one of my intake valves was adjusted to the exhaust spec. or vice-versa?

Should run rough, which you don't indicate.
