You'll be fine,the only diference will be the rooster comb and the start/reverce switch. Make sure to check input shaft endplay |

Thanks for the tips Charles. THe Valvebody will be a 69 piece and THe Switch may be deleted. If the input shaft endplay is out of spec where may I source Trrust washers? Greg |

The selective thrust washer that corrects endplay is located between the input and output shaft on the 904. A&A transmission is a good source. Don't purchase ones listed for mid 70s-up 904 transmissions,as they are different. |
