Hi everyone,

I am replacing my timing chain this week... The old one was pretty slack (pictures to follow).

Should I purchase a degree wheel and a dial indicator and degree my stock camshaft?

I would probably not degree a stock rebuild. You can always print a degree wheel from the internet if you were so inclined and put it on some sturdy cardboard.

Actually, I have read enough horror stories about replacement timing sets being many degrees off of correct that I think it is actually worth it to degree the cam any time the cam or any timing component is replaced.
