How is Airtex Wells #6H1013 as a module choice?

(Alternate/OEM Part Numbers: 1042820, 1190357, 1875990, 4419628, 592789, 7701021955, 8131941, DR100, J8131941, T1021955)

Also, what would be the best 1bbl carb choice for a stock hydro motor van? (I found out that my local carb rebuilder has a pile of 1bbl cores for which he only charges $25 on top of his rebuild fee. I'd have my pick, as 99.9% of his business is 4bbls)

I'm looking to keep the purge canister and lose the EGR.

I have a distributor already (#3690788). Does anybody know the original application?

Without going through the whole re-curve process, are there springs I should switch to right off to make it more van-friendly ?

Lastly, is there any 'normal-looking' coil that works well with HEI that I can install in the original location with the OEM type coil to distributor wire?

Any advice greatly appreciated.
